Double The Trouble- Double The Fun, April Fools

I have twin boys, when they were born the father of the “R” twins, I had one of them in my class, sent me a card of condolences.
What one of the “R” Twins didn’t think of the other one usually did. They were not mean or malicious but they were what we used to call, “All Boy.” Their best trick however was one we teachers set up. They were truly Identical twins. One April Fool’s Day they agreed at our urging to dress the same and they arrived at school looking truly identical. All day long, lunch, bathroom breaks, recess we traded them in and out of Mrs. “Z”‘s class at every opportunity. The kids in her class figured it out fairly quickly but played along, something that would never happen today. When she eventually did catch on we caught something else.

About safrisri

I have been a teacher since 1971 and have taught at all educational levels from pre-school to college. My college degree is general science which I arrived at after 5 years and 5 different majors. A degree as it turns out, almost as valuable and in demand as one in Neo-Bulgarian Mythology. I have been around education for around 40 years and can remember when teaching was a pleasant, happy and creative job and our schools were the same. My writings will reflect on my past mistakes and successes and what my students have taught me about education.
